My name is Lindsey, and I am the founder of Thomas Creek Homeschool Academy. I spent 8 years in the classroom teaching multiple grade levels, where I saw firsthand how many students were being pushed forward without truly understanding the material. Over time, it became clear to me that too many children were falling through the cracks—not because they couldn’t learn, but because they weren’t being given the time, attention, and support they needed in a system that is no longer designed with the child in mind.

As both a teacher and a mother, that realization changed everything for me.

I started Thomas Creek Homeschool Academy to create the kind of learning environment I would want for my own children—one that is calm, focused, and built around real understanding. Here, students are not rushed or overlooked. They are taught at their level, supported in their growth, and given the opportunity to build strong foundations in all subject areas.

This is a small, intentional learning space where each child is known, valued, and challenged. My goal is not just to help students succeed academically, but to help them gain confidence, independence, and a genuine love for learning.
